Gidixol calls his sound Afrosoul, a mix of Afrobeats, Dancehall, Hip-Hop, Rap, and melodic storytelling, blending these styles into his own signature music. Moreover, his music is inspired by real life, love, faith, and the hustle of Lagos itself, and it further connects with people through honest lyrics and strong rhythms. As the founder of his own label, EL-GENG, Gidixol handles all aspects of the music, from writing and production to mixing, mastering, and creative direction.
